Team London Young Ambassadors - (July 2015)

Amanda from Team London Young Ambassadors came to Earlham to talk to the whole school about how we could get involved with this programme which is all about inspiring young people to get involved in activities that help others. Amanda’s visit began with a whole school assembly which looked at well-known people who have made a difference. A group of 30 children then took part on a workshop where they began to develop ideas about who needs our help and how we could help. They worked in groups to came up with imaginative suggestions for fund raising. Look out next term to find out more about how Earlham will be part of Team London.n 1/O we went to visit the Museum of Childhood Bethnal Green. We went to the museum as part of our learning in topic. We took part in a very special workshop because we are a very special bunch of people. We learnt about toys which our grandparents, parents played with as well as toys we play with now. We got a chance to play with grandparents and parents games such as TiddlyWinks and the Rubix Cube. After our special workshop, we had a chance to explore the rest of the museum and the different galleries. We saw various different doll house, rocking horses and toys cars. We had a lot of fun and the adults we came with us had fun too. Check out the pictures of the day!!
