Wellbeing and wellness - staying calm and positive

This is a difficult time for everyone. School is closed for children, and for adults the world of work is also changing. There is much we don't know about what will happen and when, and this uncertainty can be hard for all of us to manage.

We have out together some ideas for fun family activities and some calming mindfulness sessions for you to do at home, to help you stay calm and positive.

Remember our school values - they can help us to stay positive, and to think about others and how we can help them.

If you have more ideas we can add to this page please let us know! Send them to eps-homelearning@ekotrust.org.uk

Here are six ways we usually choose to help us cope with difficult situations. All of these are useful at different times - so when you're feeling a bit down or anxious, try one of these.

Coping with the loss of a loved one

We know that some of our Earlham families have been directly affected by the virus and lost loved ones. We are so sorry. Our school therapist Emma has created a series of videos to support families through loss and grief. Please watch them with your children to help support conversations around grieving and loss. Do get in touch with us to let us know if your family has been affected and you would like further support. All of Emma's videos can be found here
